Chicago Carpet Care cleaned the carpets for our new office. They were extremely flexible with scheduling as our schedule was precise. They arrived on time and were done before the time that they had quoted. The carpet turned out beautifully, and everyone in the new office is enjoying a fresh start!
A+. There are a plethora of carpet cleaners out there, so pick a good one. I narrowed my search using the IICRC, an independent certification group.
Out of the 3 I called, Chicago Carpet Care was the top. You get a free estimate, and can choose a 2-hour window to schedule it, none of this 9-4 stuff. Danny was punctual and courteous. He immediately put on booties over his shoes without us asking. He also gave us a complementary bottle of spot remover during the estimate.
It was $275 for our 700 SF lower level + a full set of stairs. This included scotchguarding. There were 3 tiers of options, we chose the highest one.
The day of the service, we also got to choose a 2-hour window, and Danny was even a little early. The job took about 90 min. He moved the bigger furniture around as necessary, and left them on styrofoam stilts to allow for drying. Less than 24 hrs later, the carpet is dry and beautiful.
We have 2 cats, and Danny told us he pulled practically an entire cat out of the carpet. And we vacuum regularly!
Excellent service, good value. Keep your carpeting looking fresh! They're also great with email communication. Highly recommended.
They did a fabulous job with my carpets. I do cat rescue, so my own 5 cats mark and pee whenever I have foster cats or rescued kitties in the house, or even if I come home from an adoption event or rescue where they can smell other animals on me. Actually it is just one cat that does it, but then the others smell it and follow suit- :-(
We have a large bukhara area rug and 2 others that are machine made but very nice, purchased from Marshall Fields and NOT cheap. Each rug had one spot that had been peed on repetitively and none of my usual cleaning products helped- and I know them ALL.
Anyhow these guys came, talked to me, looked at the rugs, did estimates, and took the rugs. I was very emphatic that we would freak out if the smell were not totally removed. It cost us about a grand and I had to send the bukhara back after their first pass on it, b/c it still had a smell. They took it back, no problem, and when I got the carpets back we literally could not see or smell which area had been peed on. Best of all, neither could our cats. This is the first time I've been able to get a deep down cat pee smell out of carpet, so I am frankly amazed. As I said, it is not cheap but they definitely get the odors out.
Last but not least, the rugs look brand new. They were not heavily used or anything, but now they are much brighter and gorgeous. Also this company serves a huge area in Chicagoland, so any of you with pets, give them a call - I bet they will come to your burb.
My in-laws were on their way and my dog got sick right in front of the TV. I called Chicago Carpet Care and inside of the hour, a very polite technician was looking at the situation.
I sent my husband to pick up his parents as the carpet cleaner guy was finishing up. He did an excellent job. The carpet was even dry before my in-laws walked in the front door. Thanks for saving the day Chicago Carpet Care!
